We believe many things make us different in our luxury Chesterfield boarding kennels, quarantine & daycare facility, including our passion for pet care. Our cleanliness, our accomodation size of kennels, our services and the love and care we give dogs is uncomprimising. We not only have the grounds to walk your dogs, but we also have an off leash play area which is fenced and safe for lots of fun play times. We also have the luxury little extras like radios and music piped into your pets room. We want you to be able to leave your pet in the confidence they will be safe, secure, happy and loved while you are away
Absolutely, as a Chesterfield kennels and cattery we undergo regular checks to ensure we meet the highest standards of accomodation and care by the local authority. Also being a quarantine facility we undergo even more stringent checks by DEFRA every quarter.
Of course, in order to provide the dogs with some quiet time and to ensure our staff have the time to give them the love and attention we want to give them we our open to the public between 11:00am and 3:00pm.
Yes, all dogs staying at the hotel need to show evidence that vaccinations are up to date. This is for the safety of your pet and all the pets staying with us.
Yes, absolutely. We can provide bedding and bowls, but something of your pets own in addition particularly if it has some scent of home that will help them settle down more quickly. If you also prefer to bring your own food and/or treats you are very welcome to do so.
We will always try our best to accommodate your pet, but we do get very busy especially in holiday periods, so please book as far in advance as you can to avoid disappointment. We ask for a deposit of 25% in advance of their stay with the remainder due on collection of your pets. A 50% deposit will be taken for any stay over Easter, and during the summer and Christmas and New Year period holiday period.
Our sleeping accomodations are of generous proportions and can accommodate multiple pets from the same family staying together. This can be a great comfort for the pets being together. There is also a discount for pets sharing. However, we never mix pets from different families that don’t usually live together.
We have fully pet adapted transport facilities which we can pick your pet up from your home in or from any other locations through out the UK. We cover Chesterfield, Sheffield, Peak District and surrounding areas but can also cover nationally.
Yes, we think it’s a nice idea to have your dog bathed the day before or the day they come home so they are ready for your return. When you check in your pet ask for confirmation of how much a bath would be for your pet.
Their vaccination card is important, as we won’t be able to accept your pet without it. Then, any bedding or toys you want to bring, any food or treats and any medication. In the case of your dog/s collars and leads to leave with us.
Absolutely not our quarantine facility is entirely seperate from the Chesterfield Kennels pet hotel and is run under stringent health and safety conditions.

"The facilities are just simply amazing. For Sox, after being rescued as a stray from the Caribbean island she was now in the lap of luxury!! I was really anxious to think she'd be in quarantine for 7 or 8 weeks and in a tiny couped up kennel. This was definately not the case. Her run was spacious, she could see the other dogs but obviously wasn't able to socialise as was quarantined. She even had a lamp above her bed should she get cold. When I visited the staff
placed a chair in her run so I could be with her. Nothing was too much trouble. Everywhere was clean and it was lovely to see staff playing and giving the animals cuddles.
For me the only negative point is that they are based so far away from me so I don't he the chance to put my two dogs in kennels when I go on holiday!!!!
